holding middle mousebutton zooms out and lets you see the game on a giant floating screen in front of you. If you never worked with VorpX before, here are a few tricks and hints. Since you won't be able to see your hotbar that well I would recommend to use this mostly for aesthetic purposes or exploration, just disable your menu with TAB and stroll around space in VR! This offers the best performance and causes the least amount of stress on the eyes. I would recommend savegames on the Moon or on ships in space (with gravity). Hold middle mouse button to operate the main menu and open up a savegame. The headtracking is already active, make sure that you sit still because it is moving your mouse cursor! Now keep in mind that the game is ONLY displayed on the rift, your main monitor turns black or displays the last active window. The Rift and the Camera should turn on (blue notification light) and the game launches on the rift. Teamspeak overlay, Overwolf, Discord, you name it. If it looks like this, check your setup and if all the wires are in place.Īnd disable everything else that creates an overlay. Then plug in the rift and check if it shows up in the configuration tool.

Set your quality settings to something that allows you to get 70+ frames everywhere! Otherwise you will get headache and nausea (everything below 30 fps unbearable)

GPU and driver that support VR (Nvidia 760 and higher or your AMD equivalent). VorpX driver ( costs about 29,99€ or your regional equivalent) Oculus Rift Runtime 0.8.0.0 (most recent) Now this requires a bit of preperation but I will list all the steps to get the thing running. Hello Folks! A few weeks ago I managed to get a spare Rift DK2 from work and wanted to see if I can get it running in space engineers since almost all threads covering that topic died around august last year with the statement that it doesn't work.
